Has anyone tried or know of anyone who has used spray on bed liner as a keel protector? It comes in various colors and is tough as nails, but I don't know how the adhesion would be on glass or aluminum. Could be an inexpensive alternative to the commercial keel guards if it works.

Don't know myself..you could call the manufacturer or a local shop that does it. I know Doug Johnson said awhile back to have the Keel Guard installed by a qualified peep if I remember correctly. I thought about it meself but I have 2 runners on my skiff + that would be big$$$$! If I can remember I'll ask a guy here that does the spray on; I'm pretty sure it will adhere to aluminum as I was thinking about having some sprayed in a previous boat a couple yrs ago.
