| Hey Guys,
What's the best way to clean a livewell and get it looking nice again? I know some cleaners could be bad and whatnot. Any suggestions? |

| Use a super stiff brush and lots of HOT water.
Use more elbow grease than chemicals. If you need to use some sort of cleaner, like Simple Green, use the least amount as possible and make sure to rinse very very well. |

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | 1 cup bleach to 1 gallon water. Kills any invasives and will clean up the well. |

| I just bleach as well - followed by a heavy rinse. I follow up with a 3/4 fill of fresh water and a little Stress Coat Plus. I use it with my aquariums and a few drops go a long way.

Location: Antioch, IL | Third on the bleach/warm water. The Dechlorinator (Stress coat or any dechlor will do) is a good idea, especially if you don't have the time to let the live well dry out. The bleach will turn to gas and dissipate if given time to dry. I don't use any other chemicals in the live well. (Careful with the bleach around your boat carpet) |

| P & P Marine Solution. Kills all organic odors, bacteria, etc. Check it out at pprattles.com I have no iterest in the outfit at all; just know it works. Great on blood and muskie poop on the carpet of the boat too. |
