Posts: 8848 | I have three points. Even the first place answer here wouldn't get me in the running. So I'm taking one for the team here and posting the first answer: The reason I need these lures, is: I don't. I don't need most of the lures I already have. But these look really cool, and I like shiny things. (why do you think I have more lures than I know what to do with?) If I were to post a picture of my most miserable looking worn-out bucktail, I'd also have to admit that I have two others just like it, brand new, in the box, which I bought just in case this one should ever become unfishable.

Posts: 1764 Location: Ogden, Ut | It looks like merely by posting a correct answer I could come in near the middle of the pack....and mess with a perfectly good strategy. I need one because this one is flawed, it's setting is obviously broken - it's stuck on 'smallmouth'. I'm pretty sure a 'muskie' one would solve some of my problems (but admittedly, not all of them...) S. Attachments ---------------- smbdubba10.jpg (70KB - 178 downloads)

Posts: 134 Location: (South of the 218) | As a Marine and a person that has an appointment to make… I am “Jumping on the Grenade” and posting early – I can wait no longer. Remember me when I’m gone, men. I can’t say that I deserve these Glittertails anymore than the other fine folks participating in this Muskie First endeavor. It certainly has been fun while it lasted. Thanks Jim. Thanks Lambeau. Thanks M1st. However, as a teacher and a father of 3, I have had to change some my financial priorities away from the typical off-season Muskie related purchases. (Translation – the Missus put the smack down.) I’m not ashamed to admit it – I love my wife and would love to see her expression when a Tackle Package arrived and I could tell her the perceived vs. the actual cost…. I NEED these Glittertails because I need to teach my wife a Lesson about inconspicuous Online Ordering. FREE is good. (Translation – I wanna wear the pants for a while.) Said wife gave the bucktail in the photo to me for my birthday about 5 years ago. It a LOTW “ go to” of Black w/ Silver blade – however the hair on it is disappearing like the hair on the head of my best fishing buds. (Sorry about the Vertical hold and sorry about the shot @ my boys.) Out Attachments ---------------- Beat up Black and Silver.jpg (21KB - 167 downloads)

| I would like some Glittertails because I am new to the sport and I am still building my "arsenal." These baits look bad@$$ and the best part is they are interchangeable. I also like that he offers different weights as well. Attached is a picture of the only bucktail that I have actually caught a fish on so it doesn't look too sorry and worn out, but the fish kind of bent the clevis so the blade doesn't always spin right. Wow....I look kind of creepy in this picture....... Attachments ---------------- Meandfunky.jpg (18KB - 154 downloads) | |||

The bucktail in the pic is one of my only ones....measly little guy too! Attachments ---------------- little bucktail 051.jpg (50KB - 194 downloads)

Posts: 250 Location: Pittsburgh, PA | Don't know if it still counts but I would like some new lures because I am young and just getting into fishing so everything helps. This is a pretty beat up bucktail but I don't know how it happened I think I seat it down in something and it hasn't gone back to normal since and that was over the summer so that was a 25$ bucktail that I ruined so hopefully I can get a couple to make up for that.

Posts: 335 Location: Minnesota | I think that this bucktail is about as ratty as they get and still fishable. This bucktail has caught many muskies for me and I can't bring myself to replace it yet since it still is functional even though there is hardly any hair left. I don't have 3 of each color of each bait to fall back on. I don't need these new Glittertails any more than anyone out there - the real reason I think I should be given these Glittertails is so I can show my wife that there are some benefits to me "always on that musky website". She gets about as annoyed with me being on M1 as I do with her on facebook. Anyways - thanks for the contest - it has been fun and something entertaining to do while we wait for open water to fish. Those Glittertails definitely look like they are worth the effort for trying to win them. Attachments ---------------- bucktail 003.jpg (31KB - 181 downloads)

Posts: 408 Location: Omaha, Nebraska | Reasons why... hm... I love musky fishing and glittertails would add to my arsenal what no other lure can!!! Thats a bucktail that uses split rings instead of a shaft... innovative! Also look at the measly bucktail I AM holding.. it is worn out to the max... thanks mucky safari but it's time for some new ones.. hint Mike Anyways this contest has been a blast and good luck to everyone else!
