hey guys just wanted to let you all know that the dnr has closed the barbee chain and tippy lake for high water. webster lake is ok for now , but if i hear anything else i will let you know....bill

Here's the flood warning:

Statement as of 10:44 AM EDT on March 16, 2009
The Flood Warning has been extended for the Tippecanoe river near Ora
* until Saturday afternoon... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 9 am Monday the stage was 14.4 feet and slowly falling.
* Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will fall below the 12.0 foot flood stage around 2 PM Friday March 20.
* At 14.0 feet... extensive flooding of residences and low lying areas begins.
