Posts: 32934 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | The Musky Road Rules Schools are a combination of on the water instruction and class room seminars. At our schools we breakdown each individual body of water. This makes for an excellent opportunity for students to learn successful lake specific tactics which will shorten the learning curve over a weekend. These weekend schools start Friday at noon running through mid day on Sunday. Being based toward fisherman most of our time will be on the water. On Friday we will have a 4 hour class consisting of lake orientation, patterns, local weather and goals of the school, followed by Saturday and Sunday with short yet educational 1 hour classes. Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday will be mostly on the water. New this year Tony and Gregg will join each student either in their boat or in the students boat for hands on lure demonstrations and lake break down. Novice and seasoned anglers will enjoy the many benefits of this 3 day course. This year we are visiting 3 lakes for weekend courses. These lakes are: Kinkaid Lake in Illinois, Indiana’s Webster Lake and the Chippewa Flowage in Wisconsin. New for 2009 is our week long school on Minnesota’s Lake Vermilion. All details can be found below. All of these bodies of water rank high on most serious musky anglers list. All lodging, meals, maps and workbooks are included. Attendees have the option to bring their own boat, join another student in their boat or fish with a local instructor at an additional cost. Total cost $495 Per Person—arrangements to fish with an instructor is between student and instructor. Names and phone numbers can be provided upon request. New for 2009 - Week Long School On Lake Vermilion August 8-15, 2009 Come join us on the beautiful Lake Vermilion in northern Minnesota, where we will be hosting a week long school from 8/8-8/15. The school will be based out of Pike Bay Resort with everything included. For only $1000 per person, you will receive 8 nights lodging at a brand new 22 person lodge that Pike Bay will be building in 2009. The school will be based on the water with a 4 hour classroom introduction and meeting on Saturday night (8/8). This will be followed by short daily meetings geared toward catching you fish during that week. We will be fishing just after the August full moon offering you a good shot a true giant fish. Last, year during our weekend school we boated fish up to 50” and one student after hours on Sunday caught a huge 56” fish with instructor and guide Luke Ronnestrand. As with all of our schools the price of $1000 per person includes all meals, lodging, workbooks, boat slips, and maps. We are sure this will prove to be an exciting, entertaining and educational time for all involved. Posts: 462 Location: Antioch, IL | Anyone have an idea of the conditions at Kinkaid right now. They have had a serious temp swing and a ton of rain. Interested to know about water clarity and temp. | ||
