got this thinking it was a good casting rod then realized it is a glass rod when i got home. the place where i bought it has a hard time getting the 8-6 xhf that i wanted to trade up to so should i just use this for a casting rod seeing as i don't troll?this was last fall and i kept the reciept but still no rod.

Try and trade it up on the Buy Sell Trade forum. There are lots of trollers there, as you probably already know. I have luck trading stuff i don't want for stuff i do on there.
