| If anyone is heading up to Lake of the Woods at Morson, I would advise to call ahead. There was a major storm on Tuesday and highway 621 is completely shut down and probably won't be opened until the middle of next week.

| Dick: I'm headed up to Red Wing on Sat 8-11-01. Can you tell me more about the road being closed. When was the storm. Any more info would be great. I'll give you a shout on the radio if you tell me what channel your on. Thanks |

| The road is open. It is still being worked on, but you can get through. Quite a bit of damage around the marina. No injuries, thank God. Lake level is rising again. I am leaving on 8-13-01 and will be up there until the end of the month. We are on Channel 14, "Baitmaker". Give me a call. We are at Mylie's Place, just west of Red Wing.

| Dick: Thanks for the report. I called Red Wing this morning and they said the road was open. I'll give you a shout. I don't know what channel the group will be on, but I will monitor channel 68 as that seems to the channel that most of the locals use around Morson. Looking forward to meeting you, if possible. |
