Subject: Shimano Compre Rods

Hi,
Looking at the Shimano Compre heavy and extra heavy rods, the two are VISUALLY exactly the same. Same diameter, same # of eyelets, everything. Even when you "load" them up, there doesn't seem to be a lot of difference. Am I missing something?
lots of luck

They do load up different, I bought the H and XH just for this reason. I like using the H for bucktails, seems to load up a little better. Bought them before an October trip and was very happy with the performance of them. Great value for the money.

I have the 7'6 XH, and am very happy with it. Use it for jerkbaits, plastics, and walk the dog topwaters.

They are different, and a great Rod for the money.
I have one that I've used for throwing Weagles, it's 5 years old and gets used a lot.

Forgot to mention both of mine are 8' in length. The lifetime warranty was also a selling point on a rod that was priced at $109.99.

I've got a few Compre's pretty impressed with them and the lifetime warranty isn't to shabby either.
