Location: Slippery Rock, PA | I have a friend who wants to head down to do some fishing, but isn't sure when to go. Can anyone give me a general idea on when he should go? He's thinking sometime between now and May. Thanks. |

| I'd go tho the Pmtt website. They have had tourneys there in the past, and list results. You may have to look through a couple of seasons to find spring instead of fall, but that should give you a general idea.

| unless you can predict the weather weeks in advance it's pot luck . anytime that early in the year the lake might be flooded/muddy . the closer towards mid may the better your chances for clearer water , if that matters to you . I hate murky water , some like it. MD |

| Spring is great down at Cave The weather is the only factor but they control the water and big rain only hurts for a short time.
The PMTT is at Cave 1st weekend in April. |
