After saying i would never go back to Garcia i stopped in at gander last night and saw the Revo Toro...Looks really nice...seems like it's rock solid construction. $279 is pretty pricey but i see on Garcia's website they have the Revo Winch...same 5.4:1 gear ratio..same drag system....but it's $80 cheaper. I'm looking at pulling DBL 10's without killing my elbows and forearms. Is there really much difference between the Winch and the Toro? I'll be putting it on my new KT Edge series rod. I think this will be a great combination. Or should i just get another St Croix 300.

Thanks

I love the look of the Toro -- only time will tell, of course. I bought mine on ebay brand new, shipped to my door in a couple days for the same price you are listing the Winch.

That Winch doesn't have alot of line capacity rated at 12/175, there is talk of a
Toro "Winch" coming out later in the year, check the back posts for the discusion.

The winch is a bass sized reel. The Toro winch MIGHT come out but if it does it will not be till fall of 09 or later.
