Subject: Rusty Hooks

When going threw my muskie box recently I noticed most of the hooks on my baits are all rusty. I have not really had much problem till this winter. I don’t know if i got alot of moister in there or what. Is there anything you guys do to help prevent this? I know it is not that big of a deal, but i am particular when it comes to my baits. I have thought about coating them with oil or grease for storage. I know that is alittle overboard or thought about putting some Silica gel to help with moister. Any ideas?
Thanks
Brent

Leave the top open when you store them, at least until they are 100% dry. I don't put wet baits back in the box. No moisture, no rust. The inhibitor stuff works well, too.
