Just want to hear some of your opinions.

Minimum width: 34" / Minimum depth 36"

Anything smaller cramps a muskie leading to fin splitting and possibly other injuries. I have only used Beckman and Frabill nets. Stay away from the cheaper nets sold by these two companies as the net strands are very thin and far apart which will tear the he!! out of a musky's fins. Yes, they are lighter and have less drag than the quality nets making it easier to net a fish solo, but just because some of the tv shows use them doesn't make it right. I think the only worthy Frabill nets are the Big Kahuna and the Kwik Kradle. When it comes to Beckman the only worthy net models are the Pen FIN SAVERS. These mentioned nets have a thicker coating, and much smaller holes.

A lot may depend on who is handling the net and who has control of the fish, as well as the size of the fish.

I believe I have a Frabill Power Catch (model 8430), which is 32 x 41 teardrop with a 48" depth (mesh size 2").
It maybe model 8435, which is similar in size.

That's the size of net I use when I fish by myself and have in Canada. I have a smaller size I use when fishing with my brother-in-law in Missouri, where most of our muskies seem to be 43" or less. The smaller size fits in my boat more comfortable too and I feel comfortable with my brother-in-law netting my fish.

The Frabill 26 x 30 with a 36" or 38" depth is popular with some. I wouldn't go with any net with a depth less than 36".

I'm not sure how important the size of the mesh is. Perhaps someone else can give you advice.

Personally, I would go with the size I own provided you have room in your boat. It is always more comfortable to have a little larger net, especially when by yourself or with someone who hasn't handled a net very much.
