I hope some of you guys watched the show today. If you didn't, try to catch it some other time. He has every fisherman's dream basement. Tons of playthings. Every lure-building gizmo you can think of and a lure test tank.
He showed how to make a mold and copy your favorite old wood lure in plastic. I don't know where he got all of the stuff, but I sure don't have the money to do it....yet.
My favorite part was when he showed something that every fisherman should have on his rods......BPS Rod Balancers! I've been using them and telling people about them for as long as they've been making them. I'll tell you again, use them, you'll love them.
This guy is crazy about fishing. He's got it in his will that he should be cremated and his ashes should be added to the mix for making certain lures. Now that might be a little fanatical, but a great idea.
Great show today if you ever work in your basement.

Larry Dahlberg is awesome! The more I watch his show, the more impressed I am and the more I realize that I'm not much of a fisherman That basement and all things he knows and does are very impressive.

If you look really close on "The Balancer", not the BPS (XPS) balancer, but the one called "The Balancer" it says developed by Larry Dahlberg right on the package. Maybe this has something to do with him advertising it on his show. I do really love a balanced rod and his balancer seems to do the best job....I just wish I could find the same style butt cap in a larger size....like 5-6" long

Always been a good show..he is a very good writer also.
Tinkers with things as he must have that itch.
Fun to view instead of same old guides yapping about how you must to this with this an only this an that time an never do this.
Older guys rock...cause they know what rock it.

I to felt the ashes deal is a hoot.

Special stuff.

Told my wfie leave me on the dock till I tumble in or rot...be funny.
Or stand me up out by the trash?

Really I'm being spread around on the isand an different place I been in my life fish an having fun.
Some friend was to eat some of me ashes in morning oatmeal as they want some of my mojo an good looks!

Great show no matter what he is fishen for...always an adventure.

Blancer is very good product...second the need for a larger size.

Keep on rocken.
