Just wondering what tackle boxes you guys use for 6" to 7" baits like Jakes/ ernies' suicks/ shallowbuchers etc.

Sick of hanging 6" baits in a maximizer

Thanks

no tackle box....get yourself some plano 3700 or 3730's and store them in your boat compartments, if no boat put them in a backpack much easier to transport this way.

For 6 and 7 inchers I use a B and B BaitBox. You can have him make the interior whatever size you need.

i agree, go with lots of Plano's....also, get a nice soft sided tackle bag or 2...I have one that holds 3 plano's like the 3700s..and one that holds 5...when I go up north I can put the required baits for the lakes/conditions in a few planos into the soft sided tackle box and that is all I need...same with the 5 on longer trips when I'm jumping in someone elses boat...
i have never thought Lakewoods were the way to go...go w/ plano's and you'll be set

ARGH, what's wrong with me, I agree with Nelson... AGAIN 3700's are the way to go. I put a piece of clear vinyl tape on the end of each box and label it with a sharpie so I don't even have to pull them out to find stuff.

Go with the Plano boxes adn then buy yourself a Lakewood AO49. It can acdept 3 3700 series Plano boxes. Then you can just grab what you need for teh lake/day and your off!

Q: Does Lakewood make a tacklebox that can accept 5-8 Plano 3700 boxes? I thought they did...

check out the ones I make they are soft sided lure wallets, they will hold 12+ 6-7" baits with no problem and can be tucked away easily and accessed easily. Just a thought.

tacklebooty...check out the Shimano Main carry bag...I have a couple different similiar Shimono gear bags that the plano's fit perfectly in...with pockets on the sides for misc items

I have the Ultimate Tackle Box from Lakewood. It holds 10 3700s and 1 3730. Also a pocket on the side for a smaller Plano. One advantage to this box is it can be used as a casting deck and it was for a majority of the season. Love this box!!!
