Went out tonight after work since I had a few minutes of light left. No sightings no bites, no hookups. I can't wait till open water.....

I'm going to look like a Goof Nuts Charlie in the backyard next week figuring out my Trinidad 16n! At least I'm not going to have the problem of a level wind freezing!

I've had some of my best luck using Snowcrest globes in conditions like that. Sorry, couldn't resist.

It would be even more "muskie" if he figure 8s after every cast.

That picture is awesome.

Looks like the conditions weren't the best for you either Shawn....looks to be blue-bird skies on a rather chilly day and the "water" doesn't look to be that warm either....probably better luck in a few months!

Hate to rub it in, but I'm fishin' in 9 days. You guys have the advantage during the summer months, but my season gets started well before yours. HA.

Here's a snowy Pa musky who took a figure 8 on Monday.  I really feel for you guys having to hang up the equipment for a while.  This is my first year targeting fish in the winter.  Been getting a few but it's really nice just to get out for a few hours.  Hang in there and keep your eyes open near the left side of that garage, I thought I saw a boil LOL!

I learned / practiced casting in the snow at Green Briar Park off Peterson Ave in Chicago.Too many powerlines in the ally. Never even got a follow, but often drew many strange looks. Ahhhh, the yellow Heddon Pal and a red 5000. Simpler times. Steve

Steve,I used to play in a basketball league for years at Green Briar! What's up buddy? Mike and Jason are headed up today, for Jasons bachelor party. Make sure you stop by the house this weekend ,lot's of clowns going up! I'm pissed i won't be able to make it this weekend, going on a cruise! That's pretty sick when you really think about it,i'd rather be up north drinking with all those idiots in the yard by a fire than going on this cruise!

It's strange how rediculous that photo is, but makes me want to go outside and cast....

Hope Mr. Jason Long doesn't mind me putting his picture up here, but it's worth the risk!

Shaley: Looks like cold front conditions. Try plastics or jigs. Tight lines.

Last time I did that I had the old guy 2 doors down yell up "Hey! Yell when you catch one" it's still worth the odd looks from the neighbors and I am really happy I'm not the only one who does it.
