Posts: 32926 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Slamr again organized a superb event, filling both the meeting room at Officials Time Out and a bunch of shelves at the food pantry. Everyone had a great time, and LOTS of lures changed hands, as did rods, reels, and even...hockey sticks. Okuma Fishing gave away a new 7'4" rod and a Induron 400, Just Encase a Clear View lure storage system, Tackle Industries a ton of cool baits, Muskie Mojo a ton of Weagles and Wabulls, a lure WALLET from Jacob A. Hindle and Shydepoke Tackleworks, a Brandin Shepherd's cool bump board, and Dan Okray of Glowin' Outdoors was kind enough to send along some of his new night fishing products. Thanks again to ths sponsors...your dontaions make the Swap Meet the place to donate food items for those less fortunate, and that's pretty cool. Norm picked up another memento of his Beaver Incident, now famous because of the Presque Isle Outing. It was Sue's birthday today, and she had a great time at the Meet. Steve Jonesi had an entire table, and it was full of stuff. ToddM was there, making the event officially a Muskie Show event. All in all, lots of good friends, and lots of fun. Posts: 378 Location: Michigan | The Swap is simply the highlight of the weekend. Can't imagine the show without it. Thanks Andrew and the MF gang. That had to be the most lures I have seen at the swap to date. Great to see the regulars and put a few more faces with names. Already looking forward to next year. Posts: 7084 Location: Northwest Chicago Burbs | Thanks to Okuma and others for helping to sponsor the event, and thanks to all who attended. A special thanks go out to Will Schultz for all his hard work in getting the event promoted, and saving my bacon by bringing in a roll of raffle tickets to get in those last donation entries. A special thanks goes out to Joe Mellott: you never help impliment and this year you didn't even come in town for the event, but your ideas are always consistent in adding to my workload.

Posts: 1996 Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | Nice work fellers. A great time and you managed to collect a canned good or two for a good cause. I tip my hat. Mr. Conklyn, one of these days you will be on the other side, and trust me I will take full advantage. Thanks for the repro!
