Herb is a very good friend of mine and is probably one of the most knowledgable river fisherman that I have ever met. I swear this man has river water runnin through his veins! I have really learned alot about river muskies since I met Herb and I'm sure others on here will as well. Glad to have you aboard buddie! Hope to see you this weekend at the Butler show! Posts: 36 Location: Pittsburgh PA | lockhaven I did a seminar for fox56 tv outdoor expo in scranton wich is not to fare from there. Any way lockhaven is stocked with muskie finger links every year also some advanced links. but if you want real world class muskies , not winsconin but world class p.a muskies you are not fare or you are in there mists in that general area . google my name Herb Bloxsom and go to there links to the show the great Outdoors on fox 56 I think that you can still see the show that I catch a 48 inch musky on top water with the full explosion on film. There is nothing safe in that water. I have caught fish tiping the scales of 40 pounds there. If not let me know or email bob Ide show producer to see it.Soon As I figure out how to pm Will talk more if you would like. I will see if I can figure it out know. Herb

Posts: 909 | Hey Herb, when you want to pm, look at the post you want to reply to, and at the very bottom of the post you will see little boxes with PROFILE then PM then EMAIL. click on pm to send a private message or profile to see who it is or email to send them a email. Then when you see INBOX lit up in RED on your screen, that means you have a private message and you click on it to receive it! ANY QUESTIONS GIVE ME A HOLLER! Brian

I am new to this sight and I am still getting the idea of how it works. I thought it was about discussion and topics, connecting with people?I was unaware of search. I will learn till the day I die as anyone would rather there sesoned anglers or weekend warriors. Events of others or mine are a good thing. As fare as credibilty you can judge that how ever you would like .[google it ]

Posts: 663 | The search function can be a great aid but sometimes it's nice to re-visit an old topic to get a fresh take on the current trends and thoughts on a topic. Don't be afraid to ask but be prepared to field a lot of varied answers to any question you post. It's always nice to see "new blood" joining the group here and we can all learn from each other. Just remember that when all's said and done this sport is supposed to be about having some fun fishing!

Posts: 32924 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | MuskieFIRST is an interesting and large place, hb. 321,000 posts in nearly 40,000 threads to review about everything muskie archived since we launched in 2001. What we have here is a large, mostly friendly community from across the Muskie's range talking muskies 24/7. We try to keep things focused on Muskies and Muskie fishing, and we try to keep the place friendly and open to most everyone. upload.outdoorsfirst.com, our video upload website, is integrated through the entire OutdoorsFIRST network, and contains over 100 muskie related videos with more added every week by anyone who has a good Muskie video to contribute. The news and articles section would take a very long time to read, plenty of good information there, too. Podcasts from MuskieFIRST Radio, weekly winter online live seminars, and much more are available to check out. The largest compilation of images of large muskies anywhere, blogs, a very busy Buy, Sell, Trade board, and a really cool place conceived by our visitors, the Basement Baits forum. Some truly artistic and beautiful baits are shown in there. Most times you will find from 100 to 200 folks visiting at any time except the wee hours of the morning, so it's pretty much impossible to get lonely in this place. If you want to talk muskies in real time, the Chat Room is open 24/7. We categorize our forums so folks can find the information they seek without having to wade through hundreds of off topic posts. So look around a little, and enjoy the place. Most importantly, MuskieFIRST is about you, and everyone else who visits. Welcome aboard!
