| i worked all day at and sun, so my season did not start till monday. i started out on lake x (yes lake x) at 6 am. i didnt see crap in 3 1/2 hr so i packed up and headed to alexander. fished there 10 min when i seen my first fish (mid 40s). i fished till 1pm and was packing up to head to work when i saw a small splash next to a dock. thinking i would try to put a bass in the boat before i left, i grabed my spinning combo, loaded it with a worm and worked my way over. i made a couple piches under the dock and nothing. my last dich efert to put a single fish in the boat went over the corner of the dock. as i was jigging my worm and getting ready to pull it out of the water i seen this big mouth open and inhale my worm. its a MUSKY. insted of swimming out the side of the dock i swam under the end of the dock. now im over the corner and under the end of the dock. i pull my boat up to the dock getting it unhooked from the corner, then opened my bail, jumped out of the boat(im by myself)stick my rod elbow deep in water under the dock, jump back into my boat to chase down this fish. after 20 min of on hell of a fight i got her in the boat, 48 inches (on a bass worm). i was throughing the wrong crap all day. 7 hrs into my season opener, what a way to start.[:bigsmile:] [:bigsmile:] [:bigsmile:]

| Duck couldn't you have caught it on one of my spinners? Put that bass gear in the garage so you can catch some smaller musky.lol |

| same dock, same bait and had a low 30s on, but it got off. this was the next day. i wiil be fishing that dock again.
