Location: West Bend, WI | I think it would have to be the lowrider by muskybuster. I have an older one that has the offset back prop. Tons of fish have blown up on that lure. |

The bait is well built & can fished effectively in low or no light situations. |

| Lee's chopper
Why you ask?
14 fish on this 1 alone, still in fish catching shape. 3 over 35" in 32 minutes last year, fish ate them 5 trips in a row earlier this year...What else, countless fish on other choppers shortly after the first is boated. My buddy caught 1 on a blk/org 1 before I could even replace the hook I had cut from the last fish.
Fish hate these things.

| My favorite topwater is Lee Lures Top H2O. I have caught many fish on these in both calm water as well as rough. it is great to see the wake behind these things and then the attack!

Location: Land of the Musky | Weagle, Lee's topwaters, anything RyLure, and I like my own Medusa a lot too. All of these push or throw a lot of water and work great in calm or rough conditions. |

Location: Omaha, Nebraska | I would recommend American Hardwood Lures, Rylures, Joel Wicks, Trueglides, Nimmer Swimmers, and Weagles. Get any of those and you should be good to go! |

Location: Contrarian Island | that chopper looks barely used Jason! Check this one out..the first Chopper Lee gave me way back when....over 25 fish ..I still use it on occasion but it only is good for about 15 minutes before it gets too water logged....

| Thanks for sharing your eaten Lee Lures. Here is a sneak peak of my new bait for 2009.

| Yeah I would have to go with Lee Chopper I had more fish come and smack the
bait then any other topwater.

| Weagle/Day - The swoosh just brings fish in... plain and simple. The hooking percentage is unbelievable as well.
Topper Stopper/Day - ...for when the fish see a lot of pressure and see the same baits over and over again. Very quiet and productive bait.
Hawg Wobber/Night - ...same reason as the topper stopper. A little louder, but you retrieve it very slow.
Topraider/Night - Its resume speaks for itself.

Location: Hayward, WI | The last two seasons my most productive topwaters have been the Weagle and Pacemaker. The Pacemaker works day or night, and will work in some 'relatively' choppy water. Done very well with it at/after dark. Weagle has put some very nice fish in the boat for me in the last two years. Good numbers of fish also. Good any time there is some light, but if it is cloudy and misty out, oh boy!
I have also done well with Holcombe Tackle Stompers.

I am still making the Metal Series Chopper and will have them available at the shows this season.
Also, to Tacklebooty... I should have some Tidal waves left for MN show.
My favorite topwater is a Top H2O for catching the biggest fish, the Water Chopper for catching more fish.
Before I started making baits, the Hawg Wobbler was my favorite choice, especially for night fishing. Why? Slow baits catch the biggest fish on top.

Location: Medford, WI | Weagle and jackpot for sure for me. However, I'm pretty biased as I don't throw the prop baits near as much. Also, big Believers on the surface after dark are deadly.

Location: N.FIB | I like the H20`s and globes and creepers after dark,anglers way makes some pretty good globes and I have quite a few of them.The Le lure globes I did good on a few years ago and now that bait is toast,I did buy another one and had to return it because of the wire was broke at the head of the bait.I won`t buy them anymore.I wish lee would come out with one,his baits are top notch quality,the baits above show that. |

Yes, I will be at the Milwaukee show and will have a full selection of my surface baits. I will also be doing a new seminar there for all you topwater guys entitled "Topwaters From Start To Finish." This will be on Friday, check their website for time... can't remember. This will be an in depth presentation on tuning baits, when to use, and techniques.
Sure is a bummer when your favorite topwater lure goes down for whatever reason. If anyone out there every has issues with any of my surface lures, make sure to let me know and I will take care of it! I strive to make the best surface baits and want everyone to be happy with their performance. Bring any troubled Lee Lures to the shows and I will fix them.
For that matter, even if you have another brand of surface bait that you would like to bring back to life because it needs a new wire shaft or whatever... I could probably fix that for you too. At least during the winter season when I have more time.
