Posts: 189 Location: West Bend, WI | I've been to the Milwaukee musky expo, but never to the one held in Chicago. Is it pretty much the same thing that is in Milwaukee or is it bigger? Worth the trip down to Chicago?

Posts: 3156 | it depends if you factor fun into it or just base it on product to see,,,Nice location and no parking charge and the speaker line up is best of all shows,,,the swap meet afterwards has a huge turnout,,,if your into booths Minnesota expo has the most booths and boats,,I dont know if you can still get a room at the Chicago designated show hotel but its fun to stay there too because its all muskie people to hang out with in the lobby at night Edited by happy hooker 12/26/2008 10:01 AM

Posts: 968 Location: N.FIB | The speaker line up at chicago is always good, but not enough seats when the big names are up.I`ve been to both shows and they are both good, don`t go for the speakers unless I want to hear what one of them has to say,I wouldn`t make it an all day event like my club is gonna do this year.Taking a bus to the chicago show,be there all day,I would go broke.

Posts: 294 Location: Bloomer, Wi | the pool at chicago is alot nicer for testing baits than the tank at milwaukee, for that reason I prefer the chicago show

Posts: 1185 Location: Wishin I Was Fishin' | I like Milwaukee better. More room to move around. It gets elbow to elbow in Chi town. I like the swap and partying at the hotel in Milwaukee too. That is a great time expecially when staying at the hotel.

Posts: 189 Location: West Bend, WI | Thanks guys. Wow, no beer at the Chicago Show? Sometimes I just don't get what goes on down there. Where is the swap at(milwaukee)? I've heard about it from a guy at work, but neither of us have been there. How much "swapping" is there? I bet a lot of musky stories told, sounds like fun. Edited by mrmatt 12/27/2008 1:00 PM
