| Message Subject: Infamous Illinois toilet bowl STRIKES AGAIN! | |||

| I wouldn't use the same heading as "Blind squirrel finds nut in infamous illinois toilet bowl", but more like "Color Blind squirrel finds nut...etc.". Proud to say, the Chain with all it's stereotypes produces another nice 40+ fish. Was proud to see my pops pop a nice 43.5 thick fish from the Chain (5/28/02) on a 6" Crane. It is his biggest so far. (Will post pics tomorrow) The chain really seems to be putting up some nicer fish this season. The temps were up to 70 mid day, later on dropped to 66. We fished for 12 hours. I was jinxed and missed 3 fish on one shoreline. They all has Stevie Wonder syndrome on my 6" Phantom. -Phil Cali | |||

| Way to go Phil (and your Dad)! Kinda strange. There does seem to be more 40+" fish being reported this year so far. HMMM. Maybe the chain muskie are taking after baseball players and juicing themselves up to get bigger and stronger.[:p] | |||

| Maybe it's a side effect of nut cases dumping gas into the water | |||

| Here she is 43.5" great fight. | |||

| They drained pewaukee, that's the only possible explanation. Nice fish anyway. Do you have to have a wisconsin license to catch a fish that came from there?[:devil:] | |||

| Phil, Met your dad at the dock this morning. I can tell you the thrill has not worn off. He was was ready for another one. How did you guys do ? | |||
| |||
| BACKLASH, Oh god that was you, he told me after we took off. I wish I would have known I would have sat and chatted with you and Jim. He is still very excited about the catch. Man was it hot today. We polished off bottled water after another. The first spot we hit on Marie I had a nice fish to the boat that just wouldn't eat, nothing much I could do. Then that was why you saw us come back when it got windy, but she still didn't want to eat. With all the maniacs on the lake today, we really just called it an early day and got off about noon. How did you guys do? Saw you guys trolling, but with that jagoff in the speed boat it must have been horrible. Just one of those days for me. Let me know how you did, and next time we have to stop and chat, I wish I would have known before my pops told me but I didn't want to bug you guys on the lake. Pops is a Saric nut, so he was all happy too. Email me and let me know or post [email protected] -Phil | |||

| Phil, Hot was an understatement. Man did I get burned. We saw one casting, Missed one trolling and landed a 43. Nice Chain fish. Made a couple of runs on Jim. Looks like things are starting to heat up on the Chain. I'll fish it through June,then I start heading north. Your e-mail says C-21, are you a realtor? | |||
