I am in the process of getting a new trolling motor and I found out through two dealers that Minn-kota is raising the price on their motor's, 200.00-250.00 on a 24 Volt terrova, works out to be around 20-25 percent! Yikes so just a heads up if you are in the market or thinking about it you might want to jump now and do your thing to stimulate the economy and beat the price increase at the same time.

Any reason given, other than just an arbitrary $200 increase of gross income per motor?

My guess would be the snap increase in costs for copper and steel, although the prices for metal had a "correction" a couple months ago now.
