Posts: 1916 Location: Greenfield, WI | We had a great morning on Pewaukee. We got a 39" & 30" on suckers, and saw 8 others, with biggest 40"+ that followed 8 figure eights without hitting. A fish couldn't be any more aggressive and not strike! The muskie season is getting over way to fast!

Posts: 395 Location: NW WI | Fished for about 4.5 hours on Saturday and didn't see a thing. I attribute the skunk mainly to poor boat positioning (I couldn't get the boat to go the direction I wanted to save my life) and frustrations with keeping our sucker out of the weeds. Questionable lure selection could have also been a factor. It had been 3 months since I last fished and I was thoroughly bummed out after it was over.

Posts: 294 Location: Bloomer, Wi | Went out saturday and took this girl I just started seeing she didnt fish but was along for the ride. raised 2 40-42" and caught a 36" on a 11" curly sue . It was cool I yelled "got one" and she intstantly grabbed the net , I thought it was cool and started give directions on when to net it, she did good she netted it without a problem. Then later confessed that she only reached for the net cuz her purse was in there and didnt want me to pick up the net and accidently throw her purse over board. Took her back out today and raised a 36" or so that was it.

Posts: 1451 Location: Kronenwetter, WI | This morning I got up, got dressed, had a cup of coffee and went out to prep the boat when something really, really, really, extremely strange happened....I decided I could stay home in the warmth of my home, put back on my PJs, have a 2nd and 3rd cup of Joe...have crepes with the family...watch the Packer game...sleep through the Giants game and generally BE A SLUG!!! And that is just what I did. THE END.

Posts: 2687 Location: Hayward, WI | Got out bow hunting a little bit, saw a few small bucks. Passed up a 2 1/2 year old 9 point. Why do the smaller bucks always stand there broadside, at 15 yards, with not a stick between you and them? Anyway, that's all for a different forum. This morning I did what Cowboyhannah did...except I wasn't able to get as far as getting up before I decided to sleep in...it just happened accidentally! Keep those reports coming. I'm not planning on gun hunting this year, so I will be back on the water for the last few weeks of the season once the bow season is over (unless I shoot a P&Y next weekend). curleytail

Posts: 103 | Friday I boated 2 fish, a 36 inch on a double d and a 38 inch on a sucker. I also had a couple follows, both on double d's. Saturday I went out for a couple hours in the morning and lost a low 40 inch Muskie on a sucker. Today my dad and I went out for a few hours before the game. My dad had 1 follow and lost a nice fish trolling a suick over deep water. The fish kept thrashing at the surface and I told him to keep his rod down but he didn't listen and the fish threw the hook. Posts: 2091 Location: Stevens Point, WI | I was unable to convert on around 8-10 follows, mostly on a Cowgirl and an Undertaker. Fish were all still in the green weeds in around 8 feet of water.

Posts: 434 Location: searchin for 50 | My sons friend boated his first legal fish a 35" and a pb northern of 31". My son had a swing and a miss on a mid forties fish. I boated a 38" and we had one other follow. We were lucky to get these fish as I think the weather was way to nice. Posts: 5874 | Here's one I got last weekend. And the smaller one of two Lauren got two weeks ago. Batteries in the camera died so I didn't get a picture of her PB 45" fish. I'm more bummed than she is. Attachments ---------------- 110108.jpg (168KB - 89 downloads) 101808.jpg (162KB - 86 downloads)

Location: Lake Tomahawk, WI | Very nice fish. I always said it'd be cool if early November was 3 months long. Here's a view from where I am, no muskies but lots of ducks/geese. Snowed last night so maybe the deer will start chasing too. Best time of the year by far. JS Attachments ---------------- sunrise-halloween08.jpg (81KB - 88 downloads)
