| Well I missed out on the Lund Mr. Pike, but found this boat...in my area.
Anyone own this boat? I don't know much about Lowe boats, but the deal I found seems pretty nice. 115 yamaha 4-stroke, trolling motor, not sure about the electronics and all, but around $10k.
Anybody provide any info on this boat? |

| Hey Jason,
I have the 2003 FM 175 with a yammy 115, and think it is a fine boat/motor combo. I have had no issues with the motor, (knock on wood), and no real issues with the boat. I wound up converting her to a 24v system and adding on a new TM and depth finders. She has held her own in 3-4 footers in LOTW and I like the width of the boat.
If I have two complaints they would be that she rides high in the bow and tends to act a bit like a kite in strong wind, so she can make it tough to fish structure as I'd like to. Putting an extra 1-2 batteries in the front hold, helps. The other complaint would be about the trailer. The yacht club trailer it came with is pretty cheaply made.
All in all though, a fine boat.

It is super wide - Fishes several people with ease!
I love it and would buy another in the future!

| I have a FMV 185 and it has been good also have the 115 yammy and it goes about 40 mph at best the bow does ride a little high, nice and wide |

Location: davis,IL | I own a Crestliner 1750 and have no experience with the boat your looking at, BUT!!! the previous post is correct, before you dive in and buy this boat look over the trailer closely. I have a custom trailer ( Heritage), made for my boat, and yes it makes a difference. If your going to haul this boat any distance, on a regular basis, figure the quality of the trailer ( or lack there of) in your offer, it's better to pay a little more now than to be caught with your axle showing on a long haul. |
