Curious as to how to mount these rod holders to the rails. The rail mounts do not hold well. I have the double clamp models and was wondering in Burt's has a set up to allow them to be mounted to rails. If anyone has done this please let me know...I appreciate the info...Thanks, Ben[]

Ben you will need to use your handyman skills to acomplish this. Basicly you will need 2 pieces of 1 X 3 and carve the shape of the rail in them so you can put one on each side and create a block to clamp your down easters on. Make sure to do this where there is a join in the rail so that it won't slide down or roll over.

Good luck [:sun:]
