Madison? There's muskies there?

Here's what you need to do:

Look for a guy in a red Ranger, probably wearing a visor, might have a dog in the boat. Follow him around. Seriously, he doesn't mind at all. Be prepared though -- he falls out of the boat sometimes!

bfunk...
Wingra has been going good, if you are after action..bucktails, shallow cranks, suckers
Monona/waubesa i'd fish off the weed edge with the same baits...temps 57-62 range, clarity on waubesa sucks...better on monona/wingra
good luck

The clarity on Monona is better then Waubesa??? Last night i was on Monona as well as every day last week and I could see about 6 inches into the water column at max. Can you even see anything on Waubesa?

I hear the fishing has been great, especially the sucker bite.

Jeff Behrend, maybe a boat drove by and washed up some muck off the shore where you were standing. Or maybe the wind was coming out of the north. Which direction would that be again?

FYI - There's an Ironman Musky Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 1 on Monona. Would expect 50 boats.
