A local baitshop owner was really talking up Cortland's new rods. He says GREAT quality for only $80 and you get an unconditional warrenty. He's been selling lot of them to local guides. Anybody try these rods yet?

The only thing I can tell you about these rods is that the actions were designed with the help of Greg Thorne. They have made these actions in an attempt to duplicate the old Sage action rods. Great feeling rod period, not only for the price but they feel pretty darn good to me.

I have one of the 7 foot bucktail rods. Seems like a good stick to me.

I know Thorne and Reeds were clearing them out for like $50.

Not sure why they aren't selling well. Great rod for the price and unconditional guarantee.

I have the 6'3" jerkbait rod and love it. I also have several St.Croix and Falcon rods and originally bought the Cortland as a sucker dragging rig because of the price and length but after fishing with it decided it was too good for suckers and use it for it's intended use, jerkbaits.
