Envirotex Lite is the way to go.
This is a 2 part clearcoat, resin & harder.
Mix the amount desired 1:1.
The amount depends on how big your lures are and how many you would like to clear. Just try one lure the first time then you will know how much you need the next time. Consider the use of syringes for measuring.
Most builders apply the clearcoat with a brush, so do I.
After the bait has been it coated you can either just hang it and flip it over a couple of times the first two hours, or use a lureturner.
If you are not familiar with turners go for the first method.
Another few pointers. Don't touch your baits with bare hands after you painted it.
Use gloves or something else. Touching the baits without gloves will cause the envirotex to leave bare spots on your baits. You don't want that.
If, after applying envirotex, you see airbubbles in the clear on your bait, you can make them dissapear by breathing on to your bait.
Last one. Envirotex needs a long curing time. It will be dry after one day but not completely hardened for use. Leave them alone for at least three days before you fish them. If you want more layers then one you don't have to wait so long. Just apply the next layer when the one before is dry.
