Hey, I have been looking for a new rod to throw 8oz. Super D's, that can cast DBL 10 bucktails, and could be used for twitch baits my price range is up to about 180 dollars if anyone could please give me some advice for a good rod with these specifications it will really make my day since the brewers sure haven't

Any and all help is gratly appreciated
Thanks

I love my TICA 8'6" and it rips raiders and grannies no problem, i prefer the rod Keith built me for the double 10s, my recomendation to you is to give keith a call about the edge series, and if those dont work then go with tica or the okuma collapsable rods (tica is my preference)

Over the last month I have been using the Okuma EVX 8"6" Extra Heavy for DC10s. I just love it. While I haven't caught anything huge on it (only up to 40"), I have been happy with the way it casts the Spankys and Cowgirls. I even like it better than my old All Star XH. Priced around $110 and with a lifetime warranty you really can't go wrong. I don't have any SuperDs as I use Big Joes and it handles those easily.

i throw everything from super ds, curly sues, and double 10s, to smaller twitch baits or small bucktails with a 8/6 edge series pro edge rod. give keith a shout and talk to him before you decide. also jason hamernick has his own rod out that is very versitle as well.

Lamiglass 8'6" XH! You may be able to find it around for that price. Not sure really. The rod really throws some big stuff well (haven't thrown pounders on it, and I would not suggest it), and it also throws the little stuff well too.

If you are interested in a used rod shoot me an email. I have a Pro. Edge 8'4" rod to get rid of.

Another vote for the Okuma EVX XH, I throw 11 inch curly sues with it, and XX's. Works like a champ, is affordable, and the guarantee kicks butt!!!!! Gonna beat the snot out of my XH, and Heavy model EVXs this weekend on a couple little puddles in the Rhinelander area, can't wait !!!!!!

TICA IN 8' or 8' 6" retail for $120.00 They are telescopic so they will fit into your rod locker on your boat. they come in H 1-4oz and XH 2-8oz.
