Is anyone having any success with the new spinnerbaits with the big blades? Bou-Bling, the Esox Viper and the Cyco are just a few that come to mind.

no, i was wondering the samething, if others are catching fish on em. I like how you can get the heavier model down more, but no success w/ quite few hours on them.... i will be selling the 2 i have if anyone wants to purchase them?

I have been doing really well fishing the big spinnerbaits lately. Either burning them through or over the weeds; we also have caught a few fish slow rolling them on the breaklines.

Took a new Esox Viper and changed the clevis so it worked like a "regular" single blade spinnerbait. This thing had so much thump it was unreal. The profile was also huge. Fish catching machine . . . big Pike also in Canada.

Location: north central wisconsin | I've been running a double 10 GP Thumper spinnerbait for 3 years now(first one of its kind that I saw so haven't tried the others). I really like them for trolling and slow rolling at night, where they have performed well. I have noticed that they don't have quite the hooking % of a regular spinnerbait or inline double 10 as I have had several fish nail the blades and not get hooks. Just something to expect I suppose, but they are great baits for certain purposes.
