I would scuff the area on the lip where if sits in the bait with sand paper, then use heavy duty epoxy to secure it back in the slot. I wouldn't worry about the epoxy build up unless there is enough of it to make the lure run out of tune. No idea what kind of crank it is?

Thanks Mike. I scuffed everything with a heavy grit paper and then epoxied it. It seems to be holding up well.

Still wondering if anyone knows who makes this lure.
