Just thought I would post a few photos of my latest shallowing diving cranks for 2008. This is the first time I used a square bill but it helped the action quite abit. Let me know your opinions, good or bad as this is the only way I can improve my baits. Thanks Ken Schmitz

cool looking baits Ken, I'm sure they'll catch fish. The line tie looks centered on the body, what happens if you set them below the center line? Most cranks have a lower line tie eyescrew for a reason. Square lips rock. I like the size as well. Duff

Thanks guys for your positive comments and thoughts on my baits. I will difinitely keep this in mind and try out anything to make the baits better. A good friend of mine tried out the solid and jointed version and was real pleased with the action so hopefully someone will land a dandy and get a picture. Remember all comments are welcome, good or bad. Thanks for looking. Ken

Hey there, over the weekend I was up at Hayward for their annual Muskie Festival. A guide took a couple of my newest square lipped baits and made a video clip of the baits action while fishing. He said he really liked the action and it should be a good bait. Hopefully someone will connect and get a picture to me soon.

Those are really sweet! My question would be the paint job. What does the belly paint look like. I would really like that stripe on back also on belly for contrast 'cause 'ski's look up most of the time. Your paint scheme however is superb.

Let me know where to purchase!

Hi there, thanks for taking the time to check out my baits. To answer your question, I am posting a photo of the bottom of a few of my baits. These paint schemes are available on either the solid or jointed and custom colors are also available. Check your email. Thank you Ken

Hey Tony, these baits can be used as topwaters or shallow divers. They run approx 1-3 feet depending on the trolling or retreiving speed, line weight and so on. Thank you for taking the time to check out my baits and thank you for the compliments also. Ken

I personally filmed these lures and was quite impressed with the square lipped models. Both the straight and jointed model looked very good and will produce some nice fish! I will be giving the jointed model the stage this week.....hopefully some fish footage will folllow.

Thanks for the compliments Todd. Also I have had some requests for rattle chambers in these baits. Now I'm looking for opinions as to whether anyone here prefers baits with or without rattle chambers. I now have these available both ways. Thanks and l hope to hear some opinions. Ken

Just thought I would show the newest additon to the MuskieBurger family. The Monster MuskieBurger. As you can see in the photo its about 4" longer than the MuskieBurger Square S or Square D. I tested the swim and was very happy with the results on the first try. Once I get a few painted up and ready to go I'll see how they work. These will be available in solid, jointed, triple jointed and maybe quad jointed. Also they will be available with or w/out a rattle chamber. Also I may try a double rattle chamber to see if it makes a difference. Let me know what you think. Thanks Ken

Have you ever thought about through wiring your baits instead of screw eyes?

Hey there guest, yes I have given through wire some thought. I've never had a bait fail with eyescrews. These eyescrews are approx 1 1/4" long and .092 Stainless Steel. I'm not saying it couldn't happen as these fish are extremely powerful and weird things do happen. Even the eyescrews on the bottom almost come through the top so I'm quite sure they will hold up. Thanks for your sugguestion.
