Location: Gananoque Ontario | I just returned from a two week trip to LOTW and want to return in the fall. I stayed at Wiley Point in August but their boats don't have foot control trolling motors, but I really got to know the area well. I was wondering how long it would take to travel form Sandy's Blackhawk Island to Big Narrows? Or if someone could let me know of a closer resort with foot control trolling motors on there boats? Thanks for you input. Reed Findlan |

| Depend on your boat! in a rental in will take 30-45 minutes from Sandy's .. Big Narrows resort does NOT have trolling motors - you could check Frolanders (little closer)

Location: Browerville, Minnesota | With the exception of Big Narrows or Wiley, not really sure if there are any other resorts in the Big Narrows. Closest to the Narrows would be Frolanders as stated above which is in Monument Bay. After those, you are looking at a little bit of a run from other resorts. Spruce Island is in Sabaskosing, right off of the Tug Channel, but not sure if their boats have foot control trolling motors on them. I guess it really depends on how far you are willing to run to get up to the Narrows. Are you dead set on the narrows? There is a ton of great fishing water close to all the resorts! |

| Other than Wiley's and Big Narrows, the only other resort that I know of in the general area is Crow Rock Lodge, which is north of Wileys.
Otherwise, yes its at least a 30 minute boat ride from Sandy's to the Big Narrows. But there is a ton of great water around Sandy's and also Frolanders in Monument.
