I went out this morning. Turned on my bow sonar and marked probably 30 waypoints. Went back and turned on the console sonar, and none of the waypoints showed. Do both units need to be powered up to share a waypoint?

When I have both sonars on and create a waypoint, it is visible on both units. Can I just save these new waypoints on an sd card and then transfer them that way to the other unit?

just take the SD card save and move them, I do believe both units need to be on to share them.

Thans for the replies, I learned something new. I saved them to an sd card and loaded to the other unit. There is a lot to learn with these high end units. They are worth the time though.
