Posts: 1060 Location: Palm Coast, FL | Brad, Keep up the reports. I have done the same in the past and will continue to do so regardless of who doesn't want me to. I know more people are out there saying cool, great job, awesome, etc. than those that don't agree with it. Those that don't agree with it are usually the ones to voice their opinion. Webster pressure? No way! Keep your comments and reports coming!

Posts: 159 Location: NYC (and many weeks in MN during summer) | I lurked here all last year reading this forum before even registering. I quickly saw how stingy people were with fishing report details. I was naive to see how far people would go to conceal their spots, ie; photoshop. Anyway, I have always been taught to be tight lipped with info as I don't really care to do all the work and have people ride the bandwagon. I will share everything though, lure, structure, conditions etc, but never the lake. Funny story. My buddy and I were in Alexandria MN in June. We had an hour or two to kill one morning so we jumped on lake Mary for walleyes. We both caught our limits within 2 hours. We left the lake and my buddy, who is primarily a walleye guide, took the fish a couple of miles away to another lake called pocket lake to clean them at the launch. Some local guy comes over asking all sorts of question and then sees the fish. He assumes we just got off his lake with a pile of walleye. We never said we caught em there, but we didn't say we didn't. He says he's fished there for years thinking that crappies were the only fish in this small lake. We made it worse by saying we were dragging leaches over a small mid lake hump, that was no bigger than a volkswagen, and that is where we caught all the fish. He tells us he'll be out there that night looking for that hump...... We still laugh about it. Randy

Posts: 462 Location: Syracuse, Indiana | Returning from a week at Red Wing Lodge, and had the pleasure of talking briefly with Brad on the water. We had a good trip, but it pales in comparison to th F-M guys. Congrats to them. I boated 6 (39, 42, 43, 43, 44, and a 45 - think there is a strong year class or two?) and my son caught a 34 and a 39. I lost 2 others, J.R. lost 8 others. We had 20+ follows daily, but only saw one big girl. Most action was on bucktails on main lake reefs in the wind.

Posts: 2024 | We noticed the same strong year classes. 7 of the 19 we caught were 40-44". I think the Musky Hunter school noticed a similar strong year class.

Posts: 32958 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | The strong year classes now coming of age were discussed quite a bit at the last Muskie Symposium. At that time, the sheer numbers of smaller fish available were skewing the data on average size downward on LOTW.
