Well, finally got my new Booty Tail double #13s ready to go today. Went a little overboard on the colors but nobody can say I didn't listen to all of my customer requests

FYI-Taking new pictures ASAP of these. The current ones make the silver and gold blades look all scratched up and not too shinny. They are highly polished so the pictures really suck. User problem with the camera and not knowing how to take pictures. Taking them outside in the sun works much better than in a dark basement. Who would have thought!?!
This is what they really look like in the sun:

PS-Thanks to Bill and Larry for emailing me to pointing out that my pictures suck on my websites If one guy tells you you know 100 others are thinking the same thing....

I use one of your double 10's and the skirts keep getting tangled in the middle of the last hooks and ripping the material of the bait. Should I trim the skirt up so it can't get inbeded in the middle off the treble? How can I fix this problem?

I don't have that problem much on mine but I know what you mean. A few skirt hairs will embed where the three hook wires come together on the treble hook You can take that 5 minute epoxy (two tube stuff you can get at Home Depot or Ace Hardware) and mix up a small amount and put 1 or 2 drops in the center of your tail treble hook and it will seal that area so the skirt hairs will not embed into the cracks. I have done this on other bucktails I have owned in the past and it worked great for keeping bucktail hair or flashabou out of the cracks. Have yet to try it on my Dominatrix yet as I have only had a few stragglers get in the cracks and they come right out.

i do exactly what tacklebooty suggested on all my DCG and my DC10s and my llungen tales... it works keeps those strands and rubber skirts from getting caught up in the hook pretty well

Another option is to take off the top treble and put a shrink kit on it stick 90 degrees straight out with the hook back on which also help.

LOL kreegz! I had not heard of anyone doing this before. It would actually be a nice treble hook product if the hook makers just put an extra spot weld on the bottom. That would beef up the hook strength and make a nice treble hook for bucktail makers.
