Location: So. Illinois | Well my full summer work schedule just fell apart freeing up some time for a family vacation. Due to the positive reviews given by folks on this site (and Spring Bay Resorts support of MF), I talked wtih Joe and found an opening mid August. For all those folks who participate in the MF outing at Spring Bay, I would appreciate any intel you care to share about fishing the west end - never been there. I am going to try to hook up with Steve during our stay if his time allows but I would appreciate any thoughts anyone would care to share about locations, baits to use, and windows when fish seem to be more active. I will be there for the muskie, but my wife wants time to fish for walleye and other table fish so I need to figure out how to partition my day to cocer both basis (when to fish for muskie and when to fish to put a few in teh freezer). PMs or e-mail would be fine. I appreciate any assistance anyone cares to provde.

Location: Athens, Ohio | Weeds. Rocks. Weeds & rocks. Or, Rocks & Weeds. I have exactly no idea what it will be like in August, but sent you a PM anyway if it will help.
You will certainly like your stay at Spring Bay. Be sure to take the little lady next door to The Landing for food and drink. Also, there's a small convenience and trinket store within walking distance for those last minute needs, town is a dozen miles back but has a grocery store with good selections. m |
