Merle Haggard, Johnny Cash, and Waylon Jennings get the rods ratling..
But... this spring we were below the Dells fishing for eyes and we find a station that is busting out Lionel Richie, I look at my buddy and state "if I catch the biggest eye of my life we will both own this CD and mandatory will be the playing of it whenever we fish for eyes" well as it would have it we are listening to "my love" much more than we ought to, you gotta see the look of the other fisherman as they drift by!!
Oh yes, the walleye was a fat 26"....
music is musky medicine

My iPod is loaded with everything from country to Jethro Tull. I also have 3 hours of relaxation therapy CDs on it for when I'm having back spasms and need to hit the deck and go to my special place.
I also have a 12-year old daughter, so I get a steady dose of The Jonas Brothers.

Johnny Cash-Big Bad John...plus you can really get a twitching rhythm to a little Pantera-Walk

For me it's the Black Keys, Kings Of Leon, Son Volt, Black Stone Cherry, My Morning Jacket, The Fratellis, and some 80's metal hair band stuff occasionally. Sometimes I go comedy instead, with my favorites being Mitch Hedberg, Demitri Martin, and Brian Regan.

Eric Clapton, Tenacious D, Warren Zevcon, Johnny Cash, Twisted Sister, and Packer's Radio Network (am 620) Wayne Larrivee is a king in broadcast. And the sound of a slurping topwater at night.

Way too much to list. My 8GB ipod is loaded right tight. Mostly heavy stuff, Pantera, Clutch, Manson, Korn, Metallica, Rage against the Machine, Disturbed, been into System of a Down alot lately, but there is some Johnny Cash (sun years)(funny how many list Johnny), Bob & Tom, other old awesome Rock..... I bring my music every where. I don't fish without it. I run a Dewault radio that I mounted a Pelican case to the side for the ipod and changed the speakers to high end Infinity 4". Sounds pretty good for what it is. I just can't figure out where to put 6x9's, a sub and a big amp in my bass boat, let alone be theft proof and water proof.

Sounds like me Jomusky...the faster the music the faster I can reel those baits in!! I always start the "I've got a good feeling..." days out with a little One by Metallica. Works like a charm!
