| I'm wanting to throw a couple small bluegills or redear sunfish in a fishtank for the boys and thought I would ask here if anyone knows what the minimum size tank would be to handle two little gills? Thanks |

Keep the numbers low and the feeding to a minimum or else you'll be changing water every other day in a small tank. As with anything, the bigger the better so if you have access to a bigger tank the more you can do.

| We have 2 bluegill's in a 20 gallon tank and it's the perfect size, they probably wont be able to get to their full size potential but it's fun to watch them grow. |

Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | 20 long is a great tank. I use that for my feeders. 265 is a better size but that gets expensive. My boy had a 75 and its great for a number of small fish. Good filtration and regular 1/4 tank water changes and your fine. |
