Posts: 880 Location: New Berlin,Wisconsin,53151 | Well if Zorro made his mark with the "Z" and Robin Hood with the arrow then Captain Keopp has done it trolling. At last count yesterday Mike had 10 fish for the day and 1 walleye as the motor restriction was lifted on Pewaukee over the weekend. A slow no-wake rule has let anglers finally add to there arsenal of weapons to attack the "ski's" and the fish didn't let anyone who was out there down. My PB came casting with a tip from a couple of friends and a 46" fish that stayed HOT long enough this week and a great net job by Sanks. An a special thanks goes to Hawg Seeker bait company....thanks Ron. See it pays to be nice on opening day, Ron supplied some baits a a few openers ago to Sanks who gave the bait to me this year. After about 1/2 hour of casting the area where the tip was given the thick shouldered pig nailed the teaser tail about 40' from the boat. I thought that I had my 1st 50"r but it wasn't meant to be. Sank got a little nervous as I played the fish for awhile at the boat and rightfully so as the bait came loose when the fish hit the net. I want to thank the 2 guy's from West Bend for coming over to take a phone shot of the fish because the camera was not in the boat. I think it's time to get the kicker on the boat though with the numbers the Captain had.... Great Night on the Lake..... Bruce

Posts: 2691 Location: Pewaukee, Wisconsin | Congrats on the big fish Bruce. Job well done. Sanks make one hell of a guide. As for the trolling fish, lets just say they never new it was coming. Slow no wake rule is now ineffect and the use of motors is now legal on Pewaukee Lake. With all the electric only restrictions for the past weeks these fish were untapped. I just tapped into Saturday, Sunday and Monday. 10 in one day was my new personal record, one was under 30-inches with none over 40. I would trade all 10 for a fifty. The fish know whats up now. Lots of guys trolling tonight, LOTS. I trolled some and then my clients casted. We moved some good fish casting. Lots of good fish still in the weeds. Lots of dinks in open water. Please respect the properly owners that still have piers under water. SLOW NO WAKE is strictly inforced. I have been watching them ticket lots of people who push the rule. No grey area with the lake patrol. Make a wake you get a ticket. Congrats again NetMan. Nice fish. U DA MAN
