The annual kids fishing derby that FRV co-sponsors with the Bartlett Park District is Saturday August 9th from 8:00 am till noon. Registration starts at 7:00 am. This is a free event for the kids focused on promoting positive fishing experiences. Check out the message board for more information or to post questions. Great time with over 300 kids despite a rainy day. My youngest daughter placed with an eleven inch bullhead!
