Random quote: A couple of young fellers were fishing at their special pond off the beaten track when out of the bushes jumped the Game Warden. Immediately, one of the boys threw his rod down and started running through the woods like a bat out of hell, and hot on his heels came the Game Warden.

Took first place this weekend at a tournament here in my home state of Ohio. Using some new SuperD's from TackleBooty.com, hooked a 34, 42, and 44 inchers slow trolling some open water suspended fish. Anyone else use these baits yet? WAY WAY BETTER than any bulldawgs that I've ever tried, and cheaper too! Check em out.

Nice job on the first place finish. The new SuperD's are pretty sweet. One of my fishing buddies and I took first place at a spring Kinkiad tournament this year. (45 boats) I got my fish on a Llungen spinnerbait, but my partner got his on a SuperD. He pulled out a bulldawg (nothing wrong with them at all), but the color just didnt seem right for the situation, so I gave him one of my cicso SuperD's and a fish absolutely crushed it on the figure 8.

NICE! I have yet to catch a fish on the 8, but have had a few monsters kick around a few times following the bait closely. We were fishing the first contour line from deeper water into the shallower stuff. We were fishing between 12-15 feet most of the time. I was a huge fan of bulldawgs, but now after I got a few SuperDs, they just seem so much better. Softer plastic, more action, I am a believer!

Also, you said you caught your fish on a Llungen. I have a few of their bucktails, just not any of the new stuff. Has anyone tried the Llungen Krusher yet? I've been waiting to give them a try.
