Posts: 145 | Anyone out there have any opinions on these lures? I love my top raider but I am fishing some small shallow creeks and I am worried they are a bit too big and may scare a fish that is in shallow water when they land. thanks! Jacob

Posts: 1348 Location: Pewaukee, WI | My son pegged a 49.5" hawg on a baby duck colored top walker. Ask him what he thinks of that bait.

Posts: 203 Location: Minnesota | AWH recommended Topwalkers to me last year and I love it... havent caught a fish on it yet but the action is awesome... reel it fast... reel it slow... What I do with mine is switch out all split rings to Wolverine Triples, change the hooks to 5/0 VMC... and add shrink tube in the rear hook to keep it straight... We'll see how it goes when I finally get one on this bait...

Posts: 311 Location: Ontario | We've had them in the boat the last couple years and haven't used them much (couple other surface baits have been tough to knock outta of the batters box) but they sure make a racket and like the guys say, you can just tell they're good hookers. Winding them slow they pop loud, higher speeds they really rumble, I think these are definately a bait worth using.

Posts: 145 | thanks everyone! I just need something that lands a little softer but has the same type of action. I already have it in my cart at R&H. Thanks again Take care Jacob

Posts: 128 Location: Germantown, WI | Do you guys have trouble with line twist with the top walker? I like the bait and it seems like it would be an excellent hooking bait but even with good quality bb swivels on my leader, seems to twist the line quite a bit. Any suggestions?

Posts: 1243 Location: Musky Tackle Online, MN | You're sure it's a ball bearing swivel and not a barrel swivel? I've used them quite a bit and have never had any line twist with them. Aaron
