| So what is the preference at night for musky fishing? Painted blades or sliver or gold blades?
What about if the moon is big and bright? Is there a time for painted blades over unpainted?
I am also talking about double 10's. Like cowgirls, dc10's, etc. |

| I've heard non-painted... then shortly after hearing that we stuck a fish on a red/red Cowgirl at night.
I don't think it matters. What matters more, IMO, is the vibration. The only time (again, IMO) paint v. unpainted MIGHT matter would be during a full moon where unpainted blades could reflect the minimal light given off by the moon. |

| I feel it does matter...a little, not a ton...I tend to go with the moon up use light colored blades, like white, silver, pink...moon down on dark nites..go with darker blades..just my opinion...have used the same principles with cranks with sucess too..dark nite, dark bait, bright nite, bright baits.... |

Location: Ontario | In my opinion unpainted blades and unpainted surface bait tails/lips/wings are louder sounding with better vibration than painted. |
