Location: davis,IL | I have a few questions! Where was the picture taken? How BIG? is that fish? (sure looks pretty good). I thought only Salmon swam upstream with kind of vigor and determination. |

Looks to be a mid to upper 30's but maybe whoever took the picture knows the answer

Location: McFarland | I took the photo at Wingra like Brian said. Probably mid to upper 30 incher would have been my guess. I spend alot of my lunch breaks down there in the spring time and finally got lucky enough to have gotten a good shot at one. There are some giants that hang out down there too but their jumps are not nearly as pretty. |

Location: MadCity Wisconsin | Great photo Ski Patrol. I got a nice photo of one clearing water 8 years ago on the spillway but it wasnt nearly as good as your picture.
Muskydope......If you would like to watch the annual spawning run on the Wingra spillway from Murphy Creek In Madison, Wis. It starts around the 1st week of April and lasts for about 10 days to 2 weeks ending around Federal Tax due date. It surprises me how these fish can jump over the dam. Then they have to swim threw a 4" deep spillway that runs 25 yards to the lake!
