| I was just wondering how the performance on these boats are. I am looking at purchasing one. What kinda speed are people getting out of them loaded and not loaded. How do they perform in rough water. Thanks for any info I receive. |

| A 115 seems a little small for that boat. I ran an 03 with a 04 150 opti and it ran like a screaming bieaotch!!.

Location: Eau Claire, WI | I have a 618 VS with a 135 opti. Cruises 32-34 mph at 3500 Rpm. WOT = 52mph
I know of two people who had them with 115 Yami's and they topped out in the 41-45 range.
If you refer to the 618 Tiller, I can't help you there but I've heard they top out low-mid 30's.
If you are serious about a 618vs, mine is virtually like new and I would consider selling it. Send me a private message if interested. |

Location: NW WI | My best friend bought a new 618 single console with a 115 Merc 4S in 2005. The boat was a dog on the holeshot and topend. The following year he put on a 150 Suzuki 4S and is now happy as a clam.

| I've got that exact setup, runs 42(full of gas with two guys and gear)top end, could use a little more speed but I'll live. Hole shot isn't terrible, gas mileage is great. |
