I'll stay home again this weekend. I put on a new bow-mount yesterday and will wait until Monday morning to go out and hit some area lakes. These cold nights sure won't help to speed up any activity.
Don't forget your Mothers.

Saturday in Pierre South Dakota at the FLW Walleye Tour shooting images of someone winning $100,000.00. Sunday on the road home. Deliver my '08 Esox Deep V to a new owner Sunday afternoon, and get an hour or two in chasing walleyes, maybe.

Heading to Waupaca area lake South of 10 to get the itch out. Taking my uncle and cousins who have yet to catch one. Hoping to start the year out right. Good luck to everyone heading out.

My fishing was today, partner boated a 21"musky,28inch walleye, and one follow.I had SIX Follows today ,two struck at boatside missing my hooks, and one fish seen twice in the mid 40" range, that was hungry for my Shallow Invaders tail.I thought I had a very good day even though i didnt boat a fish.Sure was fun!!!

Oh yeah,Fellows lake was my destination today....

Got out on 3 mile tonight. Had one follow from a smaller fish and that was it. I fished at night for the first time. Walking down the shore I almost stepped on a goose on her nest. I almost had a heart attack. There was a flurry of feathers, cuss words, honks, and whatever else you can imagine. Not sure how I held my bladder. Saw my first bobcat as well.

Heading out to chase some big smallies this weekend, maybe ice a few walleyes as well. Got into some big bass this week, should be a good day with the rain rolling in later. Good luck to everyone on the water!
