I think the Renegade is bigger. A deep V, more like the newer Deep V's made today. The Rampage was a sponsoned V. I had a 16' Rampage in the 90's. Great boat. I think DaveJ has a 1800 Rampage, about a 2003, I think. He likes his. It is a tiller, and fishes much like a Esox Magnum. Nice and stable.

Very stable when casting for muskies. They don't lean at all.

The Rampage was a series. The boat was offered in a 160XT, 160 C, 180 XT and 180 C, and a 180 DC. All the hulls were sponsoned V models, not deep V. Great rigs for a stable paltform that will run most water well. The 180 Rampage Magnum came later and was 80" wide and 18' long.

The Renegade was offered in a 16'10" hull, the 1760 Hull Tuffy offers today, and an 18' hull. Similar interiors to the Rampage, but a Deep V hull. The 16'10" model was 72" wide and the 18' model was 90" at it's widest point, if memory serves.

Shep was correct, they are very stable rigs and fish really well.
