Is this some kind of a crazy joke?

Funny how things can change in a week. From Sandhill Cranes walking in the backyard to winter again.

South of Fargo we seem to have a good foot of snow. I just spent the last half hour shoveling. Last Saturday I got a sunburn while Sturgeon fishing east of Baudette. What a difference a week makes.

I did some shore fishing on the WI river this morning for about three hours. I've been home for an hour now and I'm still trying to get rid of the chill......it's cold and windy!!

Saw a report that Pelican Rapids had a fresh 18" on the ground as of early this morning and still snowing!

I'm less than an hour from Pelican, and the news says we got 18 inches too. It's not snowing anymore, and the snow seems to be melting quickly. I believe it's supposed to be around 45 degrees for the high today.
