What do you like better,a 8" Slammer or a 8" Jake? And why ?I really like the looks of the Slammer.

I like both and have done good on both,You really cant compare them together cause each one has its own place were it can excell. The only thing I like better is the paint jobs are top notch on a slammer and more choices than on a jake.

I like the slammers because compared to the jake, they don't need as much tuning. Have had problems with jakes in the past.

Slammers= Wood More bouyant and can be walked thru cabbage and wood with ease. Lighter and easy to pitch.

Jakes= Plastic Slow rise, have rattles. Great for deep twitching and prop wash trolling.

Both have there time and place, both are in my box at all times.[;)]

I cast my vote for Slammers. They just work a lot better for me. I really like the new deep diver I got last year.
